now, this "cartoon" transformer is coming out as a movie in 2007 , ASS, be free that day ok~!

at first i thought it was going to be an animation, but it turned out to be a live action movie. and i see that the producers (speilberg and michael bay) are retaining peter cullen (also the voice of karr in knight rider and in the opening of voltron, the defender of the universe) as the voice of optimus prime. gud gud ^_^
since scorponok was introduced, is this movie based on the headmaster series? then again, devastator appeared in g1 (or was it the g2 series).... damn confusing. any chance of hot rod being in the show?
having seen the list (though incomplete), i wud say that the autobots are clearly at the disadvantage. going up against devastator, megatron and scorponok (starscream was never a threat) individually is tough enough, but all 3?!? i wunder if godfather wud be in... mbbe they'll include the dinobots, all 5 of them - grimlock, slag, sludge, snarl and swoop...
how wud the 2nd movie fare against the the 1st? better? worse? after 21 years, i do hope its better... only one way to find out....
p.s. did tim curry ever collaborate with peter cullen before? anyone?
